How to process large-sized rubbish in Japan

When you have over-sized rubbish – that is, large items that don’t fit into your normal rubbish bags, you have to go through certain procedures to get rid of them.   I’m referring here to normal large size waste that is bigger than 30cm x 30cm x 30cm, and not home appliances and personal computers.

Language Study

The following books are those that I’ve used and I recommend for use in studying Japanese.  The “Minna no Nihongo” series is what I learned all my basic ~ pre-intermediate Japanese on.  I used the Japanese books, not the ones written in romaji – this helps to bring your Japanese reading skills up to scratch as you learn. Please also refer to the post on flashcards and vocabulary lists with Kantango.com.

Of particular note is “The dictionary of basic Japanese grammar”… this book is loaded.  The grammar points it explains are great, it gives examples and makes for a good reference book for much of the grammar points you’ll meet in the beginning and beyond.
